Algebra 1B

This course will cover topics that are traditionally taught during the second half of a traditional Algebra 1 class. The material will be spread over an entire semester, and is meant for those students who have had difficulty in math. This course will follow Algebra 1A, which covers topics from the first half of Algebra 1. Completion of both courses will be the equivalent of completing Algebra 1 for college entrance purposes. 
 
Learning Goals
  • Students will use the laws of exponents to simplify exponential, and radical expressions.
  • Students will solve quadratic equations by graphing, factoring, and the square root method.
