KHS Concert Hall & Theater

The Kearney High School Concert Hall and Theatre (CHaT) is one of only two in the country with its unique and impressive design. The theatre was built for concerts for sound but easily adapts to theater performances.  The CHaT boasts 5,500 square feet and has a stage, choir loft, and a resizeable aperture that adapts to performances by band, orchestra, chorus, and theater. There is no ‘bad seat’ among the 1001 seats in the house. From the extensive audio system, a high-tech video system, to the moveable ceiling that arranges lighting with the flip of a switch, this theater prepares students for modern productions anywhere in the world.
