New Procedure for All KPS Parents
For ALL KPS Parents and Guardians,
This is a new procedure that all parents must follow every year. Kearney Public Schools is using the Synergy ParentVUE portal for all back-to-school registrations this year. This includes students that have already been attending our schools.
This online system is your one-stop shop to update contact details, check schedules, and complete required forms quickly and easily.
This will need to be completed for all returning students as well as new students. Only one parent needs to complete this for their students.
To get started, you will need to activate your ParentVUE account and follow the simple steps below. If you already have an account proceed to Part 2.
Part 1: Setting Up Your ParentVUE Account
1. Get Your Activation Key
Check your email or mailbox for an activation letter from the district. If you are not receiving the activation letter to your email please email synergy@kearneycats.com with the correct email address. Also please make sure to check your SPAM and Junk Folder for an email coming from synergy@kearneycats.com.
2. Visit the Portal
Go to the ParentVUE Login Page on your computer, or download the ParentVUE app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Activate and Create Login
- Click "I am a parent" and select "Activate Account."
- Accept the User Agreement.
- Enter your name and the Activation Key exactly as they appear on your letter.
- Choose a username and a secure password.
Part 2: Completing Online Registration
1. Start Registration
Log in to ParentVUE and click the "Online Registration" button at the top right of the screen. Select the current school year packet to begin.
2. Update Your Info
The system will guide you through several screens. Please review and update your contact info, emergency contacts, and student health details.
3. Sign and Submit
Once all sections are green, review your summary, provide your electronic signature, and click Submit. You will receive an email confirming that your registration is complete.
