Bearcat Diner Account Policies
Parents and caregivers please note that your family Diner accounts are debit accounts for your convenience. They are not charge accounts. The accounts run on a debit system. In this system you add money to your account and your child is able to purchase food with it. As your child purchases meals or extras the money is deducted from the balance available.
You must keep money in your family account for your child’s purchases.
We make every attempt to keep you notified of your account balance. We send notifications by text and email twice a week when your account is at or below $20. These notifications will continue until your account is above $20.
If your account is in the negative
-
Your student will continue to be fed a “hot lunch”
- At the point that your account reaches $0.0 the ala cart (or extras) purchasing privilege is suspended until there is a positive balance in the account.
- The student will still be fed a “hot lunch” this meal will consist of an entree, fruit, vegetable and a milk. The student may have as much fruit and vegetable as they wish to eat but only one entree or milk during the time your account is in the negative.
Students are able to purchase any extras they would like to with cash during this time.
If you have any questions please call Bearcat Diner at 308 698-8160.
