Information
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit my information page. My name is Andrew Olson, and I have been teaching at Kearney High School since 2009. I began my education career teaching math, and after three years I moved to industrial technology where I currently teach our engineering and mechatronics courses.
My primary goals are to inspire students and prepare them for a productive, fulfilling life after high school. Since I graduated high school in 2000, I have earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, served as a military policeman in the United States Marine Corps, obtained my teaching license for high school math, earned master's degrees in both education administration and physics education, and designed/built many things, including the home that I live in. I hope that my life experiences will allow me to provide my students with the high quality education that many of them seek.
Beyond my professional life, I love spending time with family and friends, I thoroughly enjoy physical activity, and the outdoors continually bring me peace and inspiration. I live a full life, and I believe that hard work, kindness, and a positive attitude will always lead to great things.
The best way to contact me is through email: [email protected].
