Advanced Placement (AP)

AP courses prepare students for the AP exam in May. Many colleges and universities will accept AP courses for credit depending on the score that a student receives on the exam. Students should check with the college and or university that they plan to attend to gain specific information regarding credit options for their AP courses.  Courses that are taken for Dual Credit will start a student’s college transcript and can impact their college GPA. Students should visit with their teacher and counselor or consult the KHS Course Description Guide if they have questions. Student enrollment in AP classes will be limited to two AP courses per semester and four AP courses per academic year.

*All dual enrollment and AP courses are subject to change.
