Extended Learning Opportunities & Job Shadowing

Extended Learning Opportunities

Kearney High School offers a variety of opportunities for students to expand on their learning by participating in Dual Credit, Early College, Internships, Work-Based Learning, and online enrichment.  Each of these opportunities is customized for the needs of the student and aligned with State expectations.  For more information on opportunities available for students.  See the details outlined in the COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS GUIDEBOOK.

Summer School Opportunities
KHS offers summer school for credit deficient upperclassmen.  Summer school is a four-week program that is held in June.   Students have the opportunity to recover credit by completing courses on Edgenuity or Odysseyware.  The KHS counselors identify students behind in credit and provide them with an application.  Class size is limited and late applications are not accepted.  Good attendance is required and all rules in the KHS handbook are followed.
