About Mrs. Gartner
Welcome! I am Mrs. Gartner, a math teacher at Kearney High School. I was born and raised in Grand Island, NE and graduated from Grand Island Northwest High School. After high school, I completed an associate's degree at CCC in Hastings, NE, and then completed my Bachelor's degree at Hastings College. After earning my bachelor's, I had my first teaching job in Grand Island as a middle school math teacher. I then began working for Kearney Public Schools as a high school math teacher in 2017 and have been here since. While teaching at Kearney High, I worked on my Master's Degree in Math Education, which I was completed in the Summer of 2021. Go Bearcats!
