Mrs. Green, KHS School Librarian

My name is Stefanie Green, and I am the School Librarian at Kearney High School. I have a Master's degree in Information Science and Learning Technologies with an emphasis in School Libraries (M.I.S.L.T) from the University of Missouri Columbia and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (M.Ed.) from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I have been teaching at Kearney High School since 2016. 

 

I am passionate about providing students with accessible and engaging reading materials and teaching them vital digital literacy and online research skills. I frequently share this content with students through lessons taught in collaboration with classroom teachers and those shared in Bearcat Time. Overall, my aim is to teach our students to be inquisitive researchers, as well as smart and savvy digital citizens. My hope is that these skills will give every student a strong foundation for wherever their life may take them after graduation.
