Welcome to the KHS Choir Page.  Kearney High School has a long and rich history of excellent choral singing.  There are six choirs at Kearney High School.  The KHS Chorale is the top performing ensemble in the department.  It is comprised of talented 10-12 singers who have been selected by audition.  The KHS POPS CHOIR is a companion ensemble to the Chorale which focuses on incorporating choreography, costumes and other elements of show to popular and musical theater selections.  The Varsity Girls Choir and Sapphire and Gold Singers are comprised of 10-12 grade treble voices.  These singers are also selected by audition.  Finally, there are two non-audition choirs for students to participate in as well.  The 9th grade Concert Choir and 10-12 grade Mixed Chorus are introductory level courses designed to build musicianship and music literacy.
