Photography
This course is designed for students who have prior experience in operating a digital camera. Students must be able to work independently, be responsible for expensive camera equipment, understand the value of the equipment, and be able to drive to events in the community. Students are required to take photos during the day they are in class and take photos at ONE outside of school event each week. Responsibilities include: taking assigned photographs at events, downloading their photos to the server, labeling the photos correctly, and editing photographs for the yearbook and newspaper. Students also read stories or watch videos on photography techniques and write summaries about what they learned. Students must go to assigned events during the year. There is out-of-class time required.
