Journalism II
This course continues the study of news and mass communication. Students will learn how to write headlines, leads, straight news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, column writing, sports writing, layout design and advertising. Topics also include: using a stylebook, conducting an interview, and ethics concerning tragedies. Careers in journalism will also be researched. Students wishing to work on the high school yearbook (LOG) or high school newspaper (ECHO) must complete this course.
